Creating Your Future Job Logan
Creating Your Future Job Logan is a 5 week self-employment program for local youth aged 15 to 24 years living in the Logan Region. During the program, participants will identify a local problem, brainstorm a micro-business solution and work towards making an income through self-employment.
The Program
5 weeks of in-person delivery
12 months of alumni engagement support
Up to 75 students can participate in the 2021 program. We are now recruiting students for Term 4!
Target Cohort
15 to 24 year old youth
Young people who are enrolled in school but are disengaged or at real risk of becoming disengaged
Young people who are not in education or employment
Outcome
51 percent of participants start a real, income generating micro-business.
95 percent of participants increase their workplace skills and capacity including financial literacy and soft skills.
