The Canberra Young Entrepreneur Sprint

We are excited to announce that applications are now open for The Canberra Young Entrepreneur Sprint in partnership with CBRIN (Canberra Innovation Network). This sprint is designed to fast-track young entrepreneurs by providing them with the essential skills, knowledge and network to start and grow their businesses.

Participant Requirements: We ask that you commit to attending at least 80% of the in-person sessions in order to get the most out of the program. We encourage young people aged 16-30 in the ACT who are interested in business or starting one!

Cost: Thanks to the generous support of CBRIN, participation in the Sprint is free of charge. However, spots are extremely limited and will be allocated through an application process below The sprint is a series of intensive workshops aimed at young people who are passionate about entrepreneurship and business.

Over the course of the program, participants will:

💰 Gain financial literacy to sustainably manage and scale a business.

🌟 Building a personal brand and visualisation boards.

🛎️ Learn the essentials of customer service and conflict management.

🎤 Improve public speaking and pitching skills.

    • The workshop culminates with participants presenting their refined ideas in an investment pitch style, simulating the experience of real-world entrepreneurial scenarios.

  • Our team of experienced facilitators will be running the workshops. All our staff have the relevant Working With Children's Check + Blue Cards. We will also be bringing along special guests for the sprint to talk on different topics!

  • The Canberra Young Entrepreneur Sprint is designed to fast-track young entrepreneurs by equipping them with the essential skills, knowledge, and networking opportunities needed to launch and grow a business. Through a series of intensive workshops, participants will develop and refine social enterprise ideas, gain financial literacy, improve public speaking and pitching skills, enhance emotional intelligence, and participate in a Shark Tank-style pitching session.

  • If you require additional support between workshops, we offer group coaching sessions and one-on-one mentoring. Our program includes 10 x 60-minute group coaching sessions and 15 x 60-minute private mentoring sessions to ensure you receive ongoing guidance and assistance throughout the Sprint.

  • No, you do not need to have a business idea to apply. The Sprint is designed to help you develop and refine your business concepts. Whether you have an idea or are looking to explore potential opportunities, our workshops will support you in every stage of your entrepreneurial journey.

  • No! Thanks to our partnership with CBRIN, we are able to provide these valuable sessions at no cost to participants. However spots are extremely limited and through application process only.

  • Absolutely! You are welcome to apply with a friend. Who knows, you might discover that you make great co-founders. Applying together can also provide additional motivation and support as you navigate the Sprint.

  • Once you’ve sent in your application, we may reach out to have a quick chat with you on your application and aspirations for the Sprint. After that, we’ll send you all the details you need to get started. Due to the high demand, if we can't have you in this cohort we’ll let you know too.
